This is something i had to write...put myself in the shoes of a gramatically challenged kid, being asked to write an essay about their favourite food, go on and enjoy: I like food, I like sea food, Fish is my Favorite Food, many fish live in water, Some fish also live in River and Pond, but all fish live in water only, Fish sometime also eat other Fish, Fish also Live with Prawn and Crab, I eat them also, fish is very tasty, Fish lay egg, fish egg is also very tasty, I Eat Fish and sometimes also Fish Egg, Fish live in School, Sometimes, big fish attack big school and eat many fish, I feel sad for all the fish, But I like fish, they swim in water, sometimes fish jump out of water, Some fish are very big, my favorite fish are Baangda, Halwa, Paaplet, Tarli, Bombil, Raja Raani, surmai, eel, tuna, etc., all fish are good fish, I have always fish in the freezer, even now I have fish in the freezer, fish fight with other fish many times, sometimes one fish will also bite my hand...so I bite the fish and eat the fish...

Nokia E63 - Short Term
Short term review - Nokia E63
Written on an E63
Date of Purchase - 7/7/09
Date of Review - 31/12/09
Its just been over 5 months since i acquired my E63. I have enjoyed every moment of the red beauty and I realise that it could be the perfect device for me.
Here is the status
Free Memory - 67MB/C Drive
Free Memory - 486MB/E Drive/1 gb card came as part of the sales package
Apps on Fone: Gravity/Tweets60/Nimbuzz/Fring/Nokia Email Client/Pixelpipe via Share online/Facebook widget/Opera Mini/Snaptu/Ovi store/Bloomberg/world mate/google search/google maps/my space widget.
High usage Apps: Gravity/Tweets60/Nokia Mail client/Seven/Nimbuzz/Facebook widget
Moderate usage Apps: Fring/Opera Mini/Snaptu/Google Search/Pixelpipe
Rare/Occassional usage Apps: Bloomberg/my space/google maps/Ovi store.
Average Recharge Freq: 36 Hrs
Recharge @: 50% Battery
Average Talk time per recharge: 4 to 5hrs.
Hardware Status:
1. Excellent.
2.Tiny speck of a scratch on the screen.
3. Keys squeaky clean, also squeaks on occassion mostly because of the rubberised layout.
4. Some dust accumulated in the 3.5mm jack (psst...lost the tiny rubber plug the first day and I still dont know why Nokia decided so).
5. Some loose dirt accumulated in the ear phone & loudspeaker vents...which i know is quiet normal.
6. Never used the datacable that came alongwith the device, since most except Firmware upgrades are handled over bluetooth.
7. Using the Nokia MicroSD 1GB card which came alongwith. No issues with 1GB which proves to be a lot for me since i dont store songs a lot (got some 40 odd good ones), some poor quality photos snapped on the device's 2MP crappy non focus cam. Almost all space is dedicated to stuff which I really really need.
8. The camera is still poor...even after the latest round of firmware upgrade i did start of this month! May be camera in a E63 is just meant for some impromptu moments and thats abt it.
9. Just just noticed - the key pad, the extreme top right side of it where it touches the display is started peeling off! Is it just unique to me or is the build quality speaking for itself?
10. Most importantly the selling point - QWERTY keypad...the selling point. Truly a selling point and proved a boon for me and its been so good that am writing the review straight off the E63! According to me the keypad is much better because of the rubberised texture of the keys, which give better grip to the fingertips...
11. Social Networking: we arent gonna believe Nokia for a second when they proclaim the current E series as social networking champs...come on Nokia, we all know where you stand...dark ages, dont even dare to compare with the blackberry's (i used one). I downloaded the facebook app and i am not liking a it a bit :-(
Software:
Running 400.21.013. Nokia finally proved everybody wrong, they dont drop support for an e-series just like that.
Been rock steady reliable from the day i bought it. No complaints!
The phone has hung on me abt 4-5 times in the whole time I have had it! Which goes to say a lot and which goes to show how I treat my phone. Its the primary computer..that's where I think aloud, that's where i write, read and a lot lot more...
369 MHZ ARM CORTEX 11 cpu dont sound like much..but u need to work on it to believe what speed is...solid & reliable performance here too..Kudos Nokia!
Ovi Store/Nokia's version of App Store..not a great feeling about that, no, not just yet.
No good quality give aways...i am used to quality goodies from Nokia! I heard though, Nokia are working hard, spending millions on making this a worthwhile effort.
E63, i should say, is a value for money deal for most people who look out to get the E71 experience at a lower cost factor and in the bargain losing out on the 3.2MP (crappy) snapper and the A GPS. Personally i havent tried GPS or A GPS and there4 cant comment on that one aspect. Otherwise its just too good a value for money deal!
I see lotta E63 enthusiasts these days..people upgrading to this one straight from whatever phone they might have used in the past...why? Is it because it is currently the cheapest retailing QWERTY smartphone?
Partly yes, people in India, atleast the masses are getting to use a qwerty probably for the first time! So its quiet obvious, the excitement factor. But, the situation begs a question, are they even aware the giant processing, multitasking, editing and many more features of this simple looking qwerty? I dont see Nokia coming out with Advts educating people, highlighting what else can be done with the Eseries....Its time Nokia brought the latent power of the E Series to the average user's notice!
Am I happy with this phone! Yaaayy, a mighty Yaaaayyy.
Am I bored with this phone! Yaaayy, a mighty Yaaaayyy. I am bored, cos of the familiarity fatigue syndrome...sometimes haunts me so very bad..I know its gonna be the same even if I upgrade to the E72! Dont know which way I'll go.
But I do miss Blackberry Connect!
